Hope everyone had a nice Labor Day weekend. Jessica and I packed up our dog and drove down to the coast for a great little beach getaway with friends. I packed way too many cameras, and in the end, I just shot photos on my iPhone / Hipstamatic. Sometimes simple is better – especially on vacation.

Common Market is in the South End district of Charlotte, North Carolina. It’s the coolest little neighborhood watering hole right behind my brother Kevin’s company’s (Asterisk Creative) office. Over the 4th of July weekend, we spent an afternoon there tossing back pints of draft Smutty Nose Hamani Ale (funny name, but seriously good beer!) and chatting with Kevin and his friends. Good times!
