The Grandmothers and the Importance of Family at Your Wedding
Posted on January 20th, 2010 | leave a comment
A wedding is one of those rare occasions when family come from far and wide to be together. And frankly, you never know when that’s going to happen again. Lately, I’ve enjoyed pulling the grandmothers aside and making their individual portraits. It doesn’t take very long — no more than a minute or two — and I do it because it’s a way to preserve the history of your family. And because I wish I had taken more photos of my grandparents.
These are images of the grandmothers at Heather and Josh’s wedding that I second shot with Sherry Hammonds Photographyback in October. The wedding and reception were both held at the fabulous Star Hill Ranch in Bee Cave, TX. (Captured on Fuji Pro 400H film)
