What can I say about the Parker / Bowman’s? You guys rock my world. If a pack of wild dogs ate my family as a kid and I was left as orphan, I would have so wanted you to adopt me.  Come to think of it, I still want you to adopt me…

It was such a pleasure working with Jennifer (can I call you mom?) and her family, and I’m so honored that they chose me to capture the spirit of their close-knit family.

While I’m waiting for the adoption papers to go through, I thought I’d show some photos from The Parker / Bowman’s family photo shoot downtown Austin.   Enjoy!

Angelica and Stroud and their kiddos

The first time I met Angelica and Stroud was on the day of their family photo session. And when we showed up at the location that we had planned on, we found that it was being prepped for a wedding.  Yikes!  But sometimes plan B works out better than plan A; and a spot that I would have overlooked on any other day turned into the perfect backdrop for a perfect little family photo shoot… (added benefit: an awesome soundtrack to shoot to thanks to the bluegrass wedding band warming up).

Angelica and Stroud, I had such a good time hanging out y’all and photographing your little family! Thanks!
