Susan and Matt's Engagement Album

I probably enjoy designing albums as much as I love taking photos. It all goes back to story telling… and what better way to tell a story than in a clean, simple, and elegantly laid-out custom album?
Here is Susan and Matt’s engagement album. It’s a 20-page 5″x7″ (horizontal) flush mount album with a custom fabric cover; the actual photos are traditional photographic prints (C-prints) that are flush-mounted onto rigid pages.
And because all of the materials that go into it are of archival quality, this little album may very well become a family heirloom to be cherished and passed on to generations to come.

I met up with Susan and Matt down on South Congress one fine crisp cool autumn morning not too long ago to shoot their engagement photos. It’s always funny when I first start shooting, because more than likely my subjects are a tad nervous. And I like to tell them that I’m a tad nervous too (because I usually am), and that it’ll wear off soon. Well, let’s just say it didn’t take long for these two to unleash the fire.

Leticia and Farhan – engagement sneak peek!

Stacey and Nigel's engagement

I first met Stacey and Nigel on the morning of their engagement session, and after fifteen minutes, I felt like we were all old friends. They are freaking awesome. Fun to photograph, and pretty much down for whatever sillyness I threw at them (which is always a plus!).
Thanks for the good times, y’all. Can’t wait to shoot the gorgeousness that will be your wedding this fall!
