Last week, I collaborated with some of my favorite people on a model shoot.  Alex was her charming self, doing double duty as wardrobe stylist and model. Vanessa (my first time meeting her) rocked her mad hair stylist skills, and Lisa knocked it out of the park with her incredible makeup artistry.

A wedding is one of those rare occasions when family come from far and wide to be together.  And frankly, you never know when that’s going to happen again.  Lately, I’ve enjoyed pulling the grandmothers aside and making their individual portraits.  It doesn’t take very long — no more than a minute or two — and I do it because it’s a way to preserve the history of your family. And because I wish I had taken more photos of my grandparents.
