Sanibel Island in January

Jessica and I had the chance to steal away to the beach last weekend for a few days of R&R. And when I say beach, I mean a real beach — ┬áin Florida. We went to Sanibel Island, which made for quite possibly the best shelling (if you’re not familiar with the term shelling, it’s defined as the practice of gathering seashells in order to collect dust later in one’s dwelling and eventually wind up in a garage sale) either one of us has experienced. There were seashells everywhere. The whole beach was seashells.
